چکیده
Relatamos a captura e consumo de ovos pata doméstica Cairina moschata (Linnaeus, 1758) por macaco-prego Sapajus apella em um ambiente peri-urbano próximo à cidade Porto Velho, Brasil. Observamos jovem tirando dois ninho. Ele posicionou ovo entre os membros posteriores, mordendo-o com o dente canino, levando-o até boca virando para sugar conteúdo. Este é primeiro registro informações detalhadas sobre como macacos-prego capturam consomem ovos. O animais domésticos pode representar uma ameaça, já que podem ser retaliados isso.
